Composition
spironolactone 25 mg

Inactive ingredients: colloidal silicon dioxide, magnesium stearate, talc, corn starch, lactose monohydrate.

Pharmacological action
Potassium-sparing diuretic competitive antagonist of aldosterone.

In the distal nephron spironolactone prevents aldosterone delay of sodium and water and kaliwavodaschimi inhibits the effect of aldosterone, reduces the synthesis permeaz in aldosteronism plot of the collecting tubes and distal tubules. Communicating with the receptors of aldosterone increases the excretion of sodium ions, chlorine and water in the urine decreases the excretion of potassium ions and urea, reduces acidity of urine.

The hypotensive effect is due to a diuretic effect. The diuretic effect is manifested on day 2-5 of treatment.

Testimony
— essential hypertension (in combination therapy);

— otechny syndrome with chronic heart failure (can be used as monotherapy and in combination with standard therapy);

— a condition in which can occur secondary hyperaldosteronism, e.g. cirrhosis of the liver, accompanied by ascites and/or edema, nephrotic syndrome, and other conditions involving edema;

— hypokalemia/hypomagnesemia (as a subsidiary means for prophylaxis during treatment with diuretics and in case of impossibility of application of other methods of correction of potassium level);

— primary hyperaldosteronism (Conn's syndrome) - for a short preoperative course of treatment;

— to establish the diagnosis of primary hyperaldosteronism.
Contraindications
— Addison's disease;

— hyperkalemia;

— hyponatremia;

— renal failure, severe (CC less than 10 ml/min);

— anuria;

— lactose intolerance, lactase deficiency, malabsorption syndrome glucose/galactose;

— pregnancy;

— lactation (breastfeeding);

— children up to age 3 years;

— hypersensitivity to the drug.

With caution should designate product if hypercalcemia, metabolic acidosis, AV-blockade (hyperkalemia contributes to its gain), diabetes (if confirmed or suspected chronic renal failure), diabetic nephropathy, surgery, taking drugs that cause gynecomastia, the holding of local and General anesthesia, menstrual irregularities, liver failure, liver cirrhosis, and in elderly patients.
