ethyl ether N-phenylacetyl-L-polyglycine (noopept®) 10 mg

Excipients: cellulose microcrystalline, lactose (milk sugar), potato starch, povidone, magnesium stearate.
Pharmacological action
Nootropic drug. Has nootropic and neuroprotective effect. Improves learning ability, memory, working on all phases of the process: the initial processing of information, consolidation, extraction. Prevents the development of amnesia caused by electroshock, blockade of Central cholinergic structures, glutamatergicakie receptor systems, deprivation of paradoxical sleep phase.

Neuroprotective effect of the drug is to increase the stability of brain tissue to damaging influences (trauma, hypoxia, electroconvulsive or toxic effects) and the weakening of the extent of damage to brain neurons. The drug reduces the amount of focus on thrombotic stroke model and prevents neuronal death in tissue culture of the cerebral cortex and cerebellum, subjected to the action of neurotoxic concentrations of glutamate, free radical oxygen.

Noopept® has an antioxidant effect. Marked antagonistic influence on the effects of excess calcium. Improves rheological properties of blood, possessing antiplatelet, fibrinolytic, anticoagulant properties.

Nootropic action of the drug due to the formation of cyclopropylamino similar structure endogenous cyclic dipeptide possessing posed anti-amnesic activity and also with the presence of holinopozitivei action.

Noopept® increases the amplitude of the transcallosal response, facilitating associative connections between the hemispheres of the brain at the level of cortical structures.
