Pharmacological action

Meldonium is a structural analogue of gamma-butyrobetaine, a substance that is found in every cell of the human body.

As a result of a decrease in the concentration of carnitine, gamma-butyrobetaine, which has vasodilating properties, is synthesized intensively.
