Dosage form
Tablets are white, yellowish white, or grayish-white, round, flat, with facet, with engraving "CLO" on one side, without or almost without smell.
Composition
clomiphene citrate 50 mg

Auxiliary substances: gelatin, magnesium stearate, stearic acid, talc, potato starch, lactose monohydrate.
Pharmacological action
Anti-estrogenic drug nonsteroidal structure. The mechanism of action is due to specific binding with estrogenic receptors of ovaries and pituitary gland. At low levels of estrogen in the body is moderately estrogenic effect at high levels - anti-estrogenic effect. In small doses, increases the secretion of gonadotropins (prolactin, FSH and LH), stimulates ovulation; in high doses slows secretion of gonadotropins. Progestogenic and androgenic activity is not.

syndrome Stein-Leventhal (polycystic ovarian syndrome);

— oligomenorrhea;

— galactorrhea (in the background of pituitary tumor);

syndrome Chiari-Frommel syndrome (prolonged postpartum amenorrhea-galactorrhea);

— androgen deficiency;

— in men: oligospermia.
Contraindications
— liver and/or kidney failure;

— ovarian cyst (except polycystic ovary syndrome);

tumor or hypofunction of the pituitary gland;

— disorders of thyroid function;

— disorders of adrenal function;

— metrorrhagia of unknown etiology;

— long-existing or newly developed visual disturbances;

— tumors of the genital organs;

— endometriosis;

— lack of ovarian function on the background of hyperprolactinemia;

— pregnancy;

— lactation (breastfeeding);

— intolerance of galactose, lactase deficiency or malabsorption of glucose;

— hypersensitivity to the drug.
