Composition

Methylpheniltiomethyl-dimetilaminometil-hydroxybromide carboxylic acid ethyl ester 100 mg

Auxiliary substances: potato starch, cellulose microcrystalline, silica colloidal anhydrous (Aerosil), crospovidon (kollidon 25), calcium stearate.

Composition of hard gelatin capsules: titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow (E104), stain sunset yellow, metilgidroksibenzoat, propilgidroksibenzoat, acetic acid, or gelatin titanium dioxide (E171), quinoline yellow (E104), yellow sunset (E110), gelatin.

Pharmacological action

The antiviral drug. Specifically inhibits the influenza virus and SARS-associated coronavirus. On the mechanism of the antiviral action relates to inhibitors of fusion (the fusion) that interacts with the hemagglutinin of the virus and prevents the fusion of the lipid envelope of the virus and cell membranes. 

Has a moderate immunomodulatory effects.

Has interferon-inducing activity, stimulates humoral and cellular response of immunity, the phagocytic function of macrophages, increases the body's resistance to viral infections.

Reduces the incidence of complications associated with a viral infection and exacerbations of chronic bacterial diseases.

Therapeutic efficacy in viral infections is manifested in the reduction of the severity of intoxication and clinical phenomena, shortening of the disease.

Refers to low-toxic drugs (LD50 >4 g/kg). Does not have any negative impact on the human body when administered orally in the recommended doses.

Testimony

Prevention and treatment in adults and children:

— flu and SARS, the SARS, including complicated bronchitis and pneumonia;

— secondary immunodeficiency States;

— complex therapy of chronic bronchitis, pneumonia and recurrent herpetic infection.

Prevention of postoperative infectious complications and normalization of the immune status.

In the complex therapy of acute enteric infections of rotavirus etiology in children older than 3 years.

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to the drug, age up to 3 years
