Metronidazole is a synthetic antimicrobial and antiprotozoal agent of a broad spectrum of action from the group of imidazoles. Metronidazole for external use may have antioxidant activity. Indications

- rosacea (including post-steroids);

- vulgar acne;

- oily seborrhea, seborrheic dermatitis;

- pressure sores;

- hemorrhoids, fissures of the anus.
